Absolutely phenomenal
Our wedding cake was absolutely phenomenal—two tiers of pure perfection. One tier was white chocolate and raspberry, the other salted caramel, and both were equally divine. We've never had a cake so delicious—every bite was moist, rich, and bursting with flavor. Guests couldn't stop raving about it, and not a single crumb was left by the end of the night. It was everything we dreamed of and more! Highly recommend!
Surpassed all our expectations
Holly made our wedding cake for our wedding on 2nd August and surpassed all our expectations. The cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious!! We went for chocolate, salted caramel and raspberry and white chocolate as well as chocolate cupcakes and it all tasted amazing (of course I had to try each one!). The cake made for my birthday by The Bakery Den was incredible. All my guests loved the flavours and the design was so beautiful. Every part of the process was so easy, communication was prompt and straightforward, things were done when they said they would be and everything was so so efficient. Extra magic and sparkle for our wedding day
We were lucky enough to have Holly create our cake for our wedding in October and we were blown away by how gorgeous it was! Our initial consultation was so lovely and relaxed, Holly is super friendly and welcoming. We had a rough idea of what we wanted and it was so lovely that she too was as excited as we were to create it! We had a 3 tier cake, each a different flavour, with black icing, edible gold leaf and decoration with real leaves painted gold.

Most amazing gluten free cakes ever! 3 tier stracciatella chocolate, lemon then salted caramel! Surrounded by rum and ginger and gin and tonic cupcakes! Also Holly makes the most beautiful cake pops and macarons which we had as favours!!

Just wanted to say a big thank you for the cake. It was so delicious and looked amazing. You are so talented. I had so many lovely comments about it. Thank you for also thinking about Isobel's very tricky dietary needs making extra cupcakes just for her. Such a kind thought. I will definitely be returning for more cakes in the future!

Wow, thank you to Holly at the Bakery Den. I think you've outdone yourself this time!!! The cakepops (chocolate and peanut butter and chocolate with sprinkles) and cupcakes (raspberry ripple and Gin and Tonic) were absolutely incredible and everyone loved them (I managed to sneak a couple before they all went!!!) Thank you sooo much for making my birthday so much more special xx

Oh my, oh my! My lovely friend sent me a box of deeeeliscious cake pops for my birthday! I couldn't believe they were gluten free. They were so, so tasty. Same friend also had their wedding the week later and was an absolutely stunning and very yummy wedding cake. Will definitely be ordering myself. 5/5 🌟

FAQs
1. How do I place a Den by Post order?
Add your chosen treats to your basket, then open the basket and click Pay by card. You'll choose delivery or collection and pay on our secure checkout page.
2. Payment and shipping
Payment for your Den by Post order is taken securely by Stripe, so we never see your card details. You can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and you'll get an email receipt straight away. Once your order comes through, we will set about creating your tasty treats. You will then receive a confirmation of dispatch email once your cakes are on their way!
3. Delivery costs
Delivery is by Royal Mail 1st Class for treat boxes and your parcel will be packaged in a small box, which does not fit through your letter box, so it is best to be home when you expect your parcel to arrive (typically 1-2 days after confirmation of dispatch). Delivery is £4.00, but for orders over £25 delivery is free!
4. How long will my cakes last?
Once you receive your parcel, your cakes should stay fresh for at least 3 days. For cake pops, please refrigerate your box. This will ensure maximum freshness, and increase their shelf-life to at least 10 days...if they last that long!
5. How do I order my wedding/celebration cake?
Head on over to the custom cakes page, where you will find our rough price guide and information/pictures of what we can do. If you have an idea of what you would like, just get in touch using one of our online forms, or our email address. Let us know roughly how many people there will be, what flavours you like, and your budget. We will get in touch with you asap to arrange a consultation to go over possible designs and flavours and what we can do for you at a price which works for everyone.
6. How far in advance should I order my wedding/celebration cake?
Once you know what you want, you should try to order your wedding cake with at least three months to go before the big "I Do's". This gives us (if you choose to order from The Den) enough time to plan and prepare, as well as giving you that bit of time, in case you suddenly change your mind on the colour of the flowers for example, or flavour of the cake!
